Scam domain renewal letters |
If you receive a letter from any of the following companies, these letters are a scam:
- The Domain Registry of America
- Domain Registry of Europe
- EU Registry Services
- Domain Renewal Group
The letters from these companies are designed to look like official renewal notices but on closer inspection are actually offers to move your domain name over to them. These companies are nothing to do with us and are well known in the industry for trying to mislead unsuspecting domain registrants. The Domain Registry of America has already been banned from carrying out this practice in the USA.
If your domain is registered with us, your domain is included as part of your email package, so you do not have to pay or do anything extra. When your package renews we will we will take care of the domain renewal automatically.
We strongly advise that you DO NOT reply to, renew your domain with, or pay any money to these companies. If you have already paid any of the above companies, we advise that you contact them and ask for a refund or alternatively contact your bank to try to reverse the payment. |
